About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, in this hands-on role, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing of goods and services and ensuring they meet both quality and pricing standards.
As a highly organised person, you will manage par-levels and stores ensuring that inventory supplies are maintained to support the operations and the accurate recording of transactions and movements across the business. You will regularly participate in stock counts and controls and use your knowledge to communicate fast- and slow-moving goods to be able to further support our Food & Beverage Operations.
As a person with good working knowledge of WHS and Food Safety, in this role you will ensure the accurate receipt, storage and distribution of goods including fresh food and meats, distribution to our outlets, and ensure the security and safety of stores across the Sanctuary.
As our Purchasing and Receiving Officer you will be responsible for all purchase orders for food, beverage and general goods and accurately check and enter invoices to ensure swift payment and delivery of goods and support good relationships with our suppliers. On a regular basis you will also conduct costs analysis and work to develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value goods and services for the Sanctuary.
