As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents. As we continue to see our organisation advance, with the return of our international guests and our group and leisure markets, we have an opportunity for a strategic sales leader to join our team as our Head of Sales. In this senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development and Partnerships, this role is responsible for managing whole of organisation sales strategies and budgets, leading specific sales activities that drive visitation and revenue opportunities across National Trust and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, including our recently opened Homestead venue precinct and our new attraction, Astra Lumina. About the RoleAs our experienced and motivated Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategies across the varying segments of NTAQ and managing the continued growth and development of a strategic account plan for to reach and exceed our commercial targets. As a proven sales professional, you will establish budgets, team goals and expectations for direct reports and manage performance to budget expectations and develop forecasts to support sales activities and business plans. As a sales professional with knowledge across groups, leisure and events markets you will use this experience to lead and manage our proactive and reactive sales, and to determine our yield strategy for our events spaces and lead contract negotiations.  In this role, you will develop strong partnerships that will continue to enhance our brands as well as evaluate the property’s participation in the various sales channels aligned to our commercial goals.As a confident leader in our diverse and value-driven organisation, you will cultivate strong internal and external stakeholder relationships for the shared goals of delivering on the organisation’s financial goals and our charitable mission. In this role you will also leverage your experience to mentor a team of sales specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation as well as playing an integral role in our senior management team to lead and inspire. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience leading sales strategies and activities, in a tourism, hospitality, or cultural organisation and have proven experience leading a team of sales professionals and collaborating with marketing, events, and operational teams. About You
