As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations. About the RoleReporting to the Retail Supervisor, you will be delivering an amazing Guest experience and achieve daily sales targets through excellent product knowledge. You will actively engage with Guests in a positive, friendly, and helpful manner to maximise sales opportunities whilst ensuring high levels of Guest satisfaction.Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary operates 6 busy retail outlets and vending outposts during peak trade in the daytime, and our immersive light and sound experience ‘Astra Lumina’ during the nighttime. You may be required to work in any of these locations throughout any given day. Willingness to assist our other departments including our Photography department is essential.  About YouTo be successful in this role, you must have a high level of customer service ability, communication, and teamwork skills with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced Retail organisation.  You are highly energetic, motivational, have a great sense of fun, and inspire all team members to provide an outstanding, safe, efficient, and memorable guest service experience.Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:Previous experience working with daily sales targets.A genuine reliable and positive attitude and a high standard of personal presentation.Have a high standard of personal presentation and are physically fit. Ability to lift and move items up to 10kg.Ability to walk long distances both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.Can demonstrate a flexible, cooperative, ‘can-do’ attitude. About the Role
