As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and bring new venues and experiences to life, we have an opportunity for a passionate and engaging Wedding and Social Events Sales Executive to join and support our Event Sales Team.  As our motivated and engaging Events Sales Executive, you will take our wedding and social events to the next level for our unique indoor and outdoor venues, and to help drive growth and engagement across Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!About the RoleAs our driven Events Sales Executive, you will report to the Head of Sales and Events and be a sales ambassador for our wedding and social events, working to create and implement sales activities to grow our social events business.  As a key sales ambassador for our newest venue The Homestead, you will proactively sell the unique event spaces to these client groups, and effectively quote and contract events ensuring seamless service from their initial enquiry to the handover to our Event Management team.As a people-person with a sense of fun and a vision for events, you will conduct famils, site inspections and receive all internal leads for social events sales, working to develop strong relationships with prospective clients, vendors and third-party suppliers. As customer service focused salesperson, you will identify new opportunities and promote and sell all CWS services, with particular focus on upselling and add on sales to heighten the client experience and add revenue for the business.As our confident Events Sales Executive, you will provide a warm welcome to visitors, employees and volunteers and support and assist with the coordination and hosting of famils, attend Trade Shows, and attend off site events when required to enhance the sanctuary’s profile, drive engagement and new leads, and enhance our presence in this market to contribute to our success.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience in a wedding sales/social events sales role and experience in creating and implementing sales activities for events business and building close client relationships.
