As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we have an opportunity for an efficient Casual Landscape Gardener to join our Horticulture team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the largest property within the National Trust Australia (Queensland) portfolio.  About the RoleAs a Landscape Gardener you will be working as a part of a small but professional and friendly team who are responsible for delivering on new projects, keeping the extensive Sanctuary grounds looking attractive and to provide and maintain safe and engaging habitats for our Wildlife collection.Reporting to the Horticulture Supervisor, you will be able to work autonomously and perform daily horticulture tasks as directed.  This will include planting, mulching, spraying, mowing, brush cutting, weeding and soft and hard landscaping.  You will also undertake a variety of landscaping projects within the grounds and exhibits of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. You will be able to work well in a wider team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.     About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years’ experience in horticulture, gardening and/or landscaping and be able to demonstrate good generalist horticulture knowledge. Experience working productively within a small team and able to follow direction without supervision and demonstrate initiative to complete job tasks within given time frames. About You

  • Qualification of Certificate III in Horticulture
