FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR: Full time salary role with start date in 2022 This role is based at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary located on the Southern end of Gold Coast. Come and be part of our friendly team. We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with solid operations experience to join our fun and friendly team. The F&B space at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is diverse and exciting; we have 3 food and beverage outlets plus we host events large and small within our function rooms and incredible outdoor open spaces that often feature our animal collection. You will never be bored working at our amazing venue. Details about this Position: You will be a friendly and welcoming self-motivated person who can genuinely lead a team; you will have a sense of fun, being able to supervise, motivate and inspire all team members to provide outstanding efficient, safe and memorable guest service.Lead by example to ensure our team of over 20 staff deliver efficient daily F&B service. This role includes team training and supervision and ensuring operations and areas meet cleanliness, food safety, WH&S and service standards.This is a fast paced, hands-on role and you will assist with core service duties such as food and coffee service & start and end of day checklists and other duties may include roster management, stock control, equipment maintenance, ordering and recruitment support.You will seek to maximize revenue & minimize costs throughout the F&B /Events departments in order to meet company & department budgets.This is a full-time salaried role which includes working one weekend day, with flexibility required.Salary band up to $58 K p.a. plus superannuation. The opportunity to participate in accredited leadership training may be offered.Non-smoker preferred.Must be fully vaccinated to comply with the Qld Government Public Health mandate for this workplace.  Selection Criteria: 2 years’ experience at similar level within a comparable multiple outlet organisation.You will have excellent hospitality management leadership skills including strong knowledge of cash control, food service, food safety, general WHS requirements and complaint handling.Must have current Queensland RSA and Driver’s licence.Barista skills required.Has excellent attention to detail & a professional level of personal presentation.Experience with team training & writing SOPs to ensure best customer service is delivered.Will be a self-motivated team player who can communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.Computer literate with capable administration skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and POS operations at a supervisory level.Will ideally have formal qualifications in Hospitality/ Events Industry.Experience with Conference/ Event service including weddings highly regarded.Works at a fast pace but always remains calm under pressure and is solutions orientated.You will be an excellent problem solver, can demonstrate a flexible, cooperative attitude;Must have physical fitness to walk long distances, stand for long periods and able to repeatedly lift and move items up to 10kg.Must be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in all weathers, in a role that requires substantial walking in a workplace that contains animals including birds and reptiles.  How to Apply Your application should include your resume plus a brief cover letter stating how you meet the Selection Criteria.  AUD Currumbin 4223
