As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to protect, conserve, and celebrate the Environmental, Built and Cultural heritage of our State. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to join our Visitor Services Team in a Full-time capacity (40 hours per week).  In this highly varied role, you will work with a dedicated and friendly team in beautiful natural surrounds and contribute to the visitor experience. About the RoleAs our guest-focused Cleaning Supervisor you will provide operational supervision and direction to the cleaning team, including day to day management, allocation of tasks spanning across cleaning, groundskeeping and park services and rostering as required. In this hands-on role, our Cleaning Supervisor will also lead by example and support with the physical cleaning of the Sanctuary’s facilities, public areas, internal offices, lunchrooms, and other areas as required. As a highly organised Cleaning Supervisor, you will also be responsible for ordering supplies, stock control, audits, equipment management and supplier liaison. About YouYou will ideally have worked in a similar role and have a strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and usage of cleaning machinery, with a positive and friendly approach to your work and outstanding guest service! Other key skills and attributes we are looking for include:Previous supervisory experience and working productively within a small team.Flexible and cooperative attitude and good communication skillsPhysical fitness to work outdoors in all weathers, walk long distances, carry a backpack of 15kg for prolonged periods and capably perform all elements of a cleaning role.Ability to adhere to WHS guidelines and policies and experience working safely with commercial chemicals.Must be comfortable to work in an environment with mammals, birds and reptiles including snakes.Availability to work weekdays, 3 Sundays per week + weekend shifts, as well as occasional evening shifts.  What we can offerJust as our charter is to protect, conserve, and celebrate the Environmental, Built and Cultural heritage of our State – we also are committed to ensuring our Team Members are protected, taken care of, and of course celebrated!  We offer current and future team members:On Site Parking, Uniforms, Retail & Food & Beverage DiscountsTeam Member Benefit Card offering free entry to CWS and generous discountsFamily & Friends Passes.  AUD Currumbin 4223
