As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations.  Delivering on the above mission, we are seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to support the organisation’s digital roadmap and the delivery of its IT projects. Responsible for the management of NTAQ’s information technology systems, the Business Systems Manager will closely collaborate with organisational departments to ensure solutions address business needs and meet governance requirements.   About the Role As our highly adaptable Business Systems Manager you will be responsible for the management of all of NTAQ’s IT systems. Applying an analytical and overarching methodology you will analyse and report on the functionality of IT systems, complete business modelling and support the organisation’s digital transformation.    As a highly knowledgeable and forward-thinking IT professional, you will provide systems expertise, assistance and problem solving, and keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends to provide strategic recommendations based on perceived potential benefit or risk to NTAQ aligned to our digital roadmap.  As an experienced Business Systems Manager, you will work closely with various departments to ensure optimal integration and streamlining of IT systems and data exchange across different platforms.  Through your knowledge and advice, you will maximise our existing and future IT Systems usability for optimal productivity and enhance our guest and team member experiences.   In this highly autonomous role, you will be responsible for leading business processes specific to the selection, purchase, installation, maintenance and upgrade of hardware and software and maintain IT service and software provider relationships, while IT network, security and backup services are managed by a contracted IT Managed Services Provider. You will closely collaborate with the General Manager – Strategic Projects to establish and maintain an assigned budget and work toward future project goals and timelines to support our organisation growth and success. You will also lead the implementation of new systems across the organisation, working with stakeholders as necessary.   About You To be successful in this role, you will have a proven record of IT Systems Management, combined with project management and budgeting skills.
