About National Trust of Australia (Queensland)National Trust of Australia (Queensland) [NTAQ]) is membership-based, environmental charity which offers people the opportunity to feel connected to significant places, collections, and stories.  NTAQ manages a diverse portfolio of heritage which includes one of the Gold Coast’s most popular tourist destinations, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.As our organisation works to deliver new vibrant and engaging guest experiences, we are seeking an experienced AV Production Manager (Lead Operator) to join us in our pre-opening phase for a new attraction and be responsible for all the technical aspects from its construction and pre-opening phase, through to its successful operation.About the RoleAs our experienced and highly skilled, AV Production Manager you will lead AV installation, maintenance and operations, for a new night immersive light product based in the grounds of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and support internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of this new precinct. During the pre-opening phase as a technical specialist, with a good understanding of all audio-visual equipment, you will work with the onsite Project Manager and external creative agency and producers to manage the AV assets and production elements. As we move into the operations, you will maintain the technical and artistic integrity of the production and plan and manage operations and technical schedules. In this role you will foresee and execute required maintenance, order replacement parts and keep track of the status of equipment.  As the team grows you will support recruitment and training of technical leads and supervise the technical team in all operations and problem resolution.As a highly skilled AV specialist you will also manage all audio-visual assets across NTAQ sites, including but not limited to – audio systems, vision systems, interactive interpretation.  In this diverse role, you will provide event staging advice and assistance to the CWS Events Team and provide a service to our clients to support show and thematic lighting, audio and PA requirements, AV operators, vision (including projection and screens) and any theming elements.As a leader in our business, you will develop good internal and external relationships, maintain a safe and healthy work environment and be an integral part of our organisations success and you bring this new attraction to life!About YouTo be successful in this role, you will prior experience managing show operation or large-scale audio-visual installations (permanent and/or temporary) and AV/Technical experience in Hotel/Exhibition Centres or Venues would be well regarded.  Other skills we are looking for include;Good understanding of audio-visual equipment as well as power and data distribution for AV equipmentKnowledge of video projection and mapping an assetGood understanding of IT systems and network distributionAbility and interest in troubleshooting and resolution of multi-system problemsHighly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesRelevant qualification e.g. Production Management or Multimedia or equivalent work experience in this industryDemonstrated commitment to excellence and continuous improvement with the ability to model professional standards of conduct, personal presentation, behaviour, and integrityBe prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptilesWhat we can offerJust as our charter is to protect, conserve, and celebrate the Environmental, Built and Cultural heritage of our State and we also are committed to ensuring our Team Members are protected, taken care of, and of course celebrated!  We offer current and future team members:Benchmarked SalaryFree On-Site ParkingTertiary Education Partners for access to recognized QualificationsFlexible Working Arrangements and Study LeaveNTAQ Team Member Card offering unlimited entry to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and other SEQ sites and generous retail & food & beverage discountsCurrumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Family & Friends Passes AUD Currumbin 4223
