This role connects our guests to the core of what Currumbin Wildlife Hospital is all about. Inspire and educate our Sanctuary guests who visit the hospital precinct to create awareness and share knowledge about the mission and daily activities within the Wildlife Hospital. What are the tasks?Inform guests about animals being currently treated within the hospital, as seen from the deckEducate and inspire guests about how we care for our injured wildlife and Sanctuary needsPolitely ensure COVID-19 social distancing measures are being followed Promote the different fundraising pathways the hospital relies uponMaintain the appearance of the deck and ensure cleaning is conducted in instructed areasRe-stock promotional materials and resourcesBe an ambassador to promote the Park and the Wildlife Hospital  Selection criteria:A friendly and cheerful disposition, clearly spokenDisplays and embraces COVID-SAFE behaviourExcited to showcase the hospital from the deckand passionate to share knowledge and promote the Sanctuary activitiesBe familiar with the local area and have moderate knowledge of Australian native wildlifeAble to understanding and explain the hospital’s values, fundraising and conservation projectsAbility to engage with all nationalities and adapt discussions according to guests interestsTake pride in the presentation of the deck area, involving duties such as sweeping, dusting and restocking of materialsAble to stand for entire shift:10 am-2 pmStart date is as soon as possibleThis position is open to existing CWS volunteers only and if you are successful, will be in addition to your regular rostered volunteer shifts.   AUD Currumbin 4223
